The Institute for Improvement of Teachers at the Mogilev Regional Department of Public Education was established in 1939 in accordance with the decision of the Council of People's Commissars of the BSSR. The creation of this type of institution was caused by the need for more purposeful work with the pedagogical staff of the region, since, for example: out of 10 thousand teachers, only 1.5 thousand had a higher education.
During this period of time, the institute actively uses evening and Sunday courses for teachers to improve the qualifications of teachers, conducts seminars with subject teachers, organizes practical classes and open lessons, cycles of lectures and reports on pedagogical and general education topics with the departure of lecturers and speakers to districts and schools area, summarizes and disseminates best practices.
During the occupation of the city of Mogilev by the Nazi invaders, the institute did not work. In November 1944, in accordance with the resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the BSSR No. 801, the Institute for Advanced Studies of Teachers resumed its activities. Kirill Afanasyevich Pugachev was appointed director. In 1944-1948, due to the lack of funds and necessary premises, mainly local activities were carried out: intramural courses for teachers, seminars for school principals, school inspectors and head. regional method with cabinets.
In the post-war period, the staff of the institute often traveled to the districts of the region, visited schools, delivered reports and reports at the "Teacher's Day", etc. A small team of the institute (5 people in total) in the 1946-1947 academic year prepared and sent to the districts 20 methodological developments in various academic disciplines, together with the regional committee of the Komsomol published a brochure "Brief information on the geography and history of the Mogilev region."
In 1949, the director of the institute Pugachev K.A. was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. In 1949-1965. The director of the IUU was Alexander Mikhailovich Chernyakov, a deputy of the BSSR Supreme Council of the 1st convocation, an honored teacher of the republic. From 1966 to 1988 the directors of the IUU were Mikhail Matveyevich Kalistratov and Alla Timofeevna Karpilovich, who had rich pedagogical experience, honored teachers of the BSSR.
In 1984, on the basis of the institute, the All-Union seminar of directors of teacher training institutes was held. In the period from 1988 to 2005, for 17 years, the staff of the institute was headed by Yaroshev Arkady Mikhailovich, who previously worked as the head of the regional department of public education, awarded with the badge "Excellence in Education of the USSR". The Mogilev IUU was repeatedly awarded with diplomas of the Ministries of Education of the BSSR, USSR for the success in the work on improving the qualifications of teachers, and the deputy director Andryukhina L.G., head of the cabinet of educational work G.I. Zenkov. Methodist Poguzhelskaya V.E. were awarded the title "Honored Teacher of the BSSR".
In 1998. IUU was reorganized into the UE "Mogilev State Regional Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Executives and Specialists and Education Specialists", restructuring was carried out in order to approximate the university structure. INTRODUCTION
In preschool institutions of the Mogilev region, certain traditions have developed in preparing preschool children for further schooling.
The effectiveness of activities in this direction is due to the observance of a number of conditions by teachers in various forms of preschool education:
personality-oriented interaction of a teacher with a child;
focus on the development of the creative abilities of preschoolers in various types of activities (play, cognitive and practical activities, communication, visual activity, design, theatrical activity, etc.), in which the prerequisites for the child's readiness for school are laid;
the organization of play activities as the most important factor in the development of a child;
modeling of an educational environment conducive to his personal and cognitive development.
Preparing children for school is carried out in the traditional forms of preschool education (nursery - kindergarten, Kindergarten, CPC "DSSSH"), in which, along with the educational process under the "Praleska" program, there are additional educational services to prepare children for school. Short stay groups, Saturday schools and others are an effective form of preparing children for school.
In the 3rd issue of the information bulletin, the regional experience of organizing educational services for preparing children for school is presented, with which the participants of the regional panorama of the experience got acquainted on the basis of preschool institutions in the Klichevsky district.
The existing system of work of preschool institutions for the organization of educational services for preparing children for school in the Mogilev region has its positive results. Such work forms a positive public opinion about the preschool institution, increases the demand of parents for educational services, ensures their availability, the quality of preparing children for further school education, and contributes to an easier adaptation of future schoolchildren in the new social environment.

In the lessons of the "Educational and Developing Mathematics" circle, children discover the world of numbers and figures, solve problem situations, compare and contrast, establish similarities and differences, analyze small mathematical problems, learn to navigate in the environment, take initiative, express their own position, which is a prerequisite preparation for school.

The educational circle "School of Geniuses" (headed by E.V. Voytusenok) has been organized for several years in the senior group of a preschool institution with the aim of acquainting children with the letters of the alphabet, teaching syllabic reading.
The circle is based on the methodology of E.N. Bakhteva "School of Geniuses", the author's courses of which were taken by the former head of the preschool institution - mother E.V. Voytesenok. It was she who introduced her daughter to the Primer and the method of working with it.
The offered primer is a unique manual that helps children from the age of two to learn to read. The peculiarity of the method lies in the fact that each letter corresponds to its own image, so children are happy to study with it and never confuse even externally similar letters. The letters in it are "alive", each has its own shape, color, its own unique image.
In the circle, children get acquainted with the letters of the alphabet, learn to name them in order and at random, practice the skills of reading words with open and closed syllables, learn to make sentences. In her work, the teacher uses illustrative material, articulatory gymnastics when placing a letter in front of a mirror, didactic games "Find a pair", "Vowels against consonants", etc.
The main motto in the work of the teacher is the words of P. Buast "Education is a treasure, work is the key to it!" The success of children in the circle is assessed by the teacher with praise, a golden star, medallions "Clever and clever men", diplomas of achievement.

The activities of the circle "Educational games for preschool children" were organized by the teacher - psychologist of the State Educational Institution "Nursery-kindergarten No. 10" Rosinka "in Osipovichi" in order to form the child's psychological readiness for successful schooling.

The structure of the lessons includes a greeting, a set of educational games and exercises for the development of cognitive mental processes, a dynamic minute, finger gymnastics, exercises for the development of fine motor skills and graphic skills, reflection.
